The first deal announcement of 2021 was Jan 7th: $IPOE + SoFi ( $SOFI).
We now have over 3x the SPACs out searching for a merger partner than there were in Jan '21.

VPC Impact Acquisition Holdings III, Inc. (VPCC) shareholders approved its merger with Dave
Quick News:
Globis Acquisition Corp. (GLAQ) enters into a PIPE agreement for its merger with Forafric for up to 1.9M shares at a purchase price of $10.50 per share
Additionally, affiliates of Up and Up Capital, LLC and the Globis sponsors subscribed for $9.5M in convertible bonds from Forafric that will automatically convert into ordinary shares at a 10% discount to the PIPE Investment
FTAC Athena Acquisition Corp.’s (FTAA) merger partner, Pico, announces it has acquired Redline Trading Solutions, a provider of high-performance trading and market data software solutions
Novus Capital Corporation II (NXU) announces an additional $50M PIPE investment for its merger with Energy Vault, bringing the total PIPE proceeds to $150M
Thayer Ventures Acquisition Corporation’s (TVAC) PIPE subscription agreements expired on December 30th and the SPAC has re-confirmed commitments of ~87% of the prior committed amount. The total PIPE proceeds have decreased from $103.5M to $89.5M
